Strategy and Storytelling
for Overextended Teams

Hi, I’m Eliz. I help campuses and mission-driven organizations turn brand and communications challenges into clear strategies that free teams to focus on what matters.

Let’s Get Creative.

For managers and teams that feel stretched, overlooked or pulled in a hundred different directions, I’m here to help. I know what it’s like to feel maxed out, underfunded and alone in your work. At Eliz Creative, I help teams think creatively, not just visually, but also strategically, about solving problems, connecting with audiences and amplifying impact.

My sweet spot is supporting managers and smaller teams in thinking outside the box, combining strategy and storytelling to make your work visible and inspire action.

Having worked across a range of universities, colleges and mission-driven organizations, I understand that one size does not fit all. That’s why I approach every engagement with an open mind, listening carefully to your challenges and needs before crafting a tailored solution.

  • “Eliz has a remarkable ability to bring clarity to complexity. In our work together at UM, she consistently translated big institutional challenges into smart, actionable strategies that moved the work forward. She has a rare gift for seeing both the broader narrative and the operational steps needed to get there — and she does it with thoughtfulness, precision, and deep understanding of higher ed environments. Any team would be lucky to partner with her.”

  • “Elizabeth’s writing has a warm human touch, vivid details, and embeds factual information in just the right places.”

    - PETE MACKEY
President & Executive Strategist, Mackey Strategies

  • “From excellent writing skills to great planning and strategic thinking to the flexibility to morph between different styles of work (promotion, advancement/fundraising, issues management, events, etc.), Elizabeth brings some of everything to her role.”

    Vice Chancellor for Communications

About Eliz

The nickname “Eliz” started as a simple way to shorten the many-syllabled Elizabeth, but it stuck because it felt different, unexpected and a little unconventional - like me. I’ve always moved through the world with curiosity, intention and a willingness to challenge traditional ways of thinking.

I’ve built my career helping colleges, universities and mission-driven organizations do the same: challenge old patterns, think strategically and imagine what’s possible.
